Jakarta Provincial Government keeps developing the concept of tourism village in the capital.
We have many citizens' houses which can be used as the location of the Tourism Village
Nowadays the city already has the Betawi cultural neighborhood Setu Babakan in South Jakarta and Kampung Pecinan (Chinatown) in West Jakarta.
"We have many citizens' houses which can be used as the location of the Tourism Village," expressed Acting Deputy Governor for Jakarta Tourism and Culture Section Oswar Muadzin Mungkasa, at City Hall, Tuesday (5/28).
Its existence keeps being developed in cities all over Indonesia by working more optimally to develop this potential.
"There are a number of requirements to make a place become a Tourism Village. It can be an attraction of nature, culture and history," he stated.
