Approaching Eid holiday, security area action on Harapan Island, North Thousand Islands Sub-district keeps being optimized through Satpol PP personnel assisted by army and police.

Harapan Island Urban Village Head, Adi Apandi said that it is conducted to welcome Eid and enforce the bylaw number 8/2007 on Public Order by sweeping piers and stalls.

"From the sweeping, we didn't find any firecrackers or alcohol sold in people's stalls. This shows that the residents obeyed the direction that was announced from socialization or the mosques," he expressed, Tuesday (5/28).

"Hopefully this condition can be maintained," he stated.
