A theatrical performance will soon be kicked off in the Jakarta History Museum, Kota Tua, West Jakarta.

Next, another play called 'Entong Gendut' will be held on June 21-22

Jakarta Historical Museum Management Unit Head, Sri Kusumawati conveyed, it will be held four times with different stories that relate with Indonesian folklore.

"It is held on weekends and opened for free of charge. Yes, we plan to open museum until night," she informed, Thursday (5/2).

Previously, Jakarta History Museum had held a play called 'Singa Betina dari Marunda' on April 13-14.

"Next, another play called 'Entong Gendut' will be held on June 21-22 to commemorate Jakarta's 492th Anniversary," she said.

Through this innovation, her side intends to make museum looks attractive and hopes more people can see museum as an interesting place to learn history.

"We expect this play to entertain and educate our visitors," she added.
