Certainly it aims to improve service quality and increase interest in reading for visitors
Jakarta Library and Archives Agency has given accreditation C towards a library in Kawedanan Building, RW 03, Panggang Island, North Thousand Islands.
According to Nanang Suryaman, Executing Unit Head of Thousand Islands Library and Archives Sub-agency, assessment was done through several factors such as, the level of visits, facilities and infrastructures and the quality of human resources or staffs.
"The team assessed
how much literacy owned, system management by officer and so forth," he expressed, Wednesday (3/27).He assessed that the value of 60-70 is equivalent to accreditation C. That means, it opens an opportunity for the library to be recognized at the national level as the first accredited district library.
"Certainly it aims to improve service quality and increase interest in reading for visitors," he stated.
