North Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-department and Water Resources (SDA) Unit deploy two mobile pump units to drain inundation at RT 16/04 settlement and Jalan Sungai Brantas RW 01, Semper Barat Urban Village, Cilincing, Wednesday (1/30).

Semper Barat Urban Village Head, Benhard Sihotang stated, heavy rain last night caused Gubug Genteng and Progo Rivers water overflowed to settlement as high as 50 centimeters.

"Water level on the river is very high thus water from settlement's channel can't flow to the river," he stated.

One of Jalan Raya Cacing's channels that leads to Sepatan River was clogged and caused inundation due to heavy rain falls last night.

He informed, this inundation is lower than in previous years that can reach 70 centimeters. Former inundation needs one day to recede, but now it only takes some hours to drain.
