Jakarta Environment Dept.'s Water Agency Management Unit has deployed 40 officers and 2 excavators to clean up trash at the Manggarai Sluice Gate.
In addition to dozens of officers, we also deployed two excavators and dump trucks
Jakarta Environment Dept. Head, Isnawa Adji stated that the rain that is now starting to descend makes the sluice gate, is full of trash, starting from pieces of wood, bamboo, as well as styrofoam and plastic.
"In addition to dozens of officers, we also deployed two excavators and dump trucks," he expressed, Tuesday (11/13).
Since Monday (11/12) until Tuesday (11/13) afternoon, there have been 75 trucks deployed to transport trash from the sluice gate.
"In details, 66 trucks on Monday and now is 7 trucks, but it may increase up to 10 trucks, there are still trash left over that has not been transported. We will finish today," he stated.
