North Jakarta Government socializes 35 fiber optic (FO) providers about utility cable arrangement plan at Mayor Office's Ruang Pola, Tuesday (10/9).

According to field monitoring result, North Jakarta Assistant in Economy and Development, Suroto said, many fiber optic cables installations are still untidy, especially in settlement areas.

"So we will arrange those untidy utility cables," he stated, Tuesday (10/9).

He explained, currently Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. builds box culvert (ducting) in several main roads in North Jakarta. Utility cables which are still hanging will be inserted into the ducting to make it tidier.

At first, arrangement is planned to be done after infrastructure construction on Jl. Yos Sudarso, Danau Sunter Barat, Danau Sunter Utara and Jl. Lodan are completed. His side is also targeted to move hanging FO cables on the locations and put it into the ducting this year.

"We will arrange those cables by inserting them inside ducting. We hope it can make Jakarta becomes tidier, more orderly and beautiful," he affirmed.
