Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan conducts a direct observation in the activity of school environmental introduction (MPLS) for new students at SDN Kampung Melayu 01, Kampung Melayu Urban Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta.

On that occasion, he conveyed a message regarding the importance of communication and interaction between the schools, students, and parents for better growth and better education of the child.

"Good communication is also important to prevent students' problems," he stated, Sunday (7/16).

On the first day of schooling in the new school year, it coincides with the start of the school food supplementary program (PMTAS) that has run in 48 schools. It is aimed to provide a good nutritional intake for learners in Jakarta.

"In future we will develop it in other schools after our budget is ready," he said.
