Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan appreciates Foreign Affair Ministry (Kemenlu) supports for Indonesian Art and Culture Scholarship (BSDI) program.

"I appreciate this art and culture scholarship because it can introduce Indonesia to the international world," he said after attending Indonesia Channel 2018 event at Taman Ismail Marzuki, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (7/4) night.
Through this scholarship program, he explained, Jakarta can be a place for scholarship grantee to learn and know more about Indonesia cultures within three months.
"Not only as life experience, but we hope this experience can be shared in their native countries," he mentioned.
Retno Marsudi, Foreign Affairs Minister said, BSDI program is based on the beauty of ethnic and racial differences in the world.
"The differences is not to weaken, but reinforce each other," she affirmed.
She also informed, there are 13 people from 72 scholarship grantee of this scholarship program who will continue their study or their curiosity towards Indonesia.
"Once again, I convey my gratitude to Governor for the willingness to be the host of this event," she said.
