West Jakarta Mayor, Anas Effendi, asked 56 urban village heads in his region to facilitate and arrange culinary traders who open stall along the roadside during Ramadan.

"As long as it does not disturb public order and can keep the environment clean, Ramadan culinary traders should be given space," he expressed, Tuesday (5/22).
Aside that, urban village apparatus must also coordinate with other related units to ensure food and drinks sold by culinary traders are safe for consumption.
"It must be free from harmful substances such as formalin, rhodamine and borax," he said.
