Cit y BPRD is looking to optimize the use of information technology in an effort to achieve tax target by Rp 38,125 trillion set in 2018 APBD.

City BPRD Head, Edy Sumantri disclosed, one of the uses of information technology is to apply the use of national payment gateway facility (GPN) in cooperation with Bank Indonesia (BI). It is hoped able to increase the taxes of hotel, restaurant, entertainment place and parking lot.

"BI will supervise its payment, so we can monitor realization of transaction acceptance. Thus it can anticipate money smuggling," he stated, Tuesday (1/2).

Even, his side would also conduct intensive levies on bulding and land tax acquisition (BPHTB). 

"Governor says will encourage the Spatial Planning Cipta Karya and Land Dept. To give contingency to all apartments," he told.

By doing so, he is optimistic that tax revenue could exceed the target this year.
