The South Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. officers have pruned seven mahogany and angsana trees at Gg CC, Karet Urban Village, Setiabudi Sub-district, South Jakarta, Tuesday (1/2).

South Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. Head, M. Yuswardi said tree pruning is carried out over public request that saying trees are already tall and dense.

"Tree pruning is a form of anticipating fallen trees in the future," he said.

It is also aimed to create a neat and beautiful environment.
