Seven officers of South Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. have pruned nine mahogany trees alongside Jalan Kemang Selatan, Bangka Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan Sub-district.

South Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. Head, M. Yuswardi stated tree pruning is carried out to respond the public report. "We do tree pruning, as most trees are already tall and dense," he expressed, Tuesday (12/19).

Additionally it is also aimed to anticipate fallen tree in future, considering it is already rainy season.

"By so, locals are hoped will be safe and feel comfort when doing the activity," he stated.
