Security aspect will be one of the focus of attention during the 2018 Asian Games XVIII.

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno said, to maintain security in the capital to remain conducive cooperation, it is required with various parties.

"The security preparedness of the upcoming Asian Games will be a top priority of cooperation with Kodam Jaya," he disclosed, after he met with Pangdam Jaya at Kodam Jaya Headquarters, Jalan mayjem Sutoyo, East Jakarta, Tuesday (10/24).

He explained, the event must be ensured to provide comfort and safety for the supporters and athletes of the participating countries.

Hence, he furthered, the synergy, coordination and consolidation need to be strengthened to smoothen the event.

"The face of Indonesia and the honor of the nation is in our hands. We must ensure the security and preparation of the implementation of the Asian Games," he closed.
