The Semanggi Interchanges construction has entered finishing stage. Until now, it has reached 94 percent.

According to Heru Suwondo, Head of Overpass and Intersection Division at Jakarta's Bina Marga Agency, the current project only leaves minor work such as lighting improvement, marking painting, partial installation and reinstatement.

"There is also asphalting on ramp position. It's approximately less than six percent more to be completed," he disclosed, Monday (7/17).

He explains, on July 29, his side will hold a soft launching about intersection prior to inauguration on August 17.

"We open traffic, meaning the vehicle may pass. And on August 17, we will do the inauguration," he stated.
