Until noon, 150 people have crowded our bazaar
Along with Bulog, the Cipete Utara Urban Village, South Jakarta opens cheap staple food bazaar on the yard of An Nur Mosque, Jalan Haji Naim II. More than 100 people are seen queuing to buy basic food at a price below the market.
"Yes, I'm happy if the bazaar is opened, as it will lighten our burden," expressed Latifah (53), a citizen of RW 11, Tuesday (6/13).
In the bazaar, people can buy five kilograms of rice worth Rp 39,500-Rp 67,500, 1.8 liters of cooking oil Rp 22,500, sugar Rp 12,500 per kilogram and wheat flour Rp 8,000 per kilogram.
Cipete Utara Urban Village Head, Mohammad Yohan disclosed cooperation with Bulog is purposed to stabilize daily needs price in the market. Additionally, in Ramadhan, it can help people to meet the needs.
"Until noon, 150 people have crowded our bazaar," he closed.
