The North Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. is carrying out cleaning at an illegal waste disposal site (LPS) on Jalan Warakas Raya, RT 01/03, Warakas Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district.

According to Slamet Riyadi, Head of North Jakarta Environment Sub-dept., the LPS was actually closed down two months ago. Yet, at the same place, people still throw waste haphazardly.

"To clean up waste there, we send seven freelancers. And then we dispose waste to Bantargebang Landfill," he stated, Tuesday (6/13).

If the LPS is clean already, the place will be more comfortable and neat.

"Especially motorcyclist, don't throw waste carelessly when passing the area," he asserted.
