Various efforts continuously done by Jakarya Provincial Government to suppress inflation in food sector.

One of them is to create chili planting program in each citizen house.

"Our food team is in the middle creating this program," said Sri Haryati, Head of City Economy Bureau, Sunday (3/26).

She explained that program is initiated to overcome the chili's high price in the market. In this program, citizen will be urged to plant minimum of three pots of chili in each house.

"Later on, we will give the seeds and teach citizen how to plant chili," she expressed.

She added in this program, her side collaborating with City Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Tenacity Dept. (KPKP) and Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) in charge of food.

"We sure this way could be effective to suppress inflation from food sector," she closed.
