Floods inundated Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, Makasar Sub-district after water overflowing from Malang River due to incessant rain since dawn.
We'll focus on evacuating residents
Cipinang Melayu Urban Village Head, Angga Sastra Amijaya disclosed, overflowing water occurred since 4 AM. Water quickly hit a settlement in the lowland.
"The worst condition is spotted in front of Borobudur campus. Flooding occurs almost evenly in entire RWs," he told, Tuesday (2/21).
He added the worst occurred in RW 03 and 04 due to overflowing water of Sunter River.
"We'll focus on evacuating residents," he closed.
