The construction of Cipinang River's sheet pile in RW 06, Pinang Ranti Urban Village, Makasar began to be built. It is targeted will be complete in one month.

East Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. Head, A Yazied Bustomi disclosed the construction is focused on north side of the river as long as 200 meters. As planned, it will have 2.5 meters high.

"We use river rocks in the project. Considering, all this time, sheet pile has never been made here," he stated, Tuesday (2/7).

As a result, the overflowing water of the river is often occurred when rain pours. As a result, it has inundated the settlement. 

"After sheet pile is made, we hope similar disaster can be anticipated in future. If all goes well, it will finish in March 2017," he disclosed.
