Jakarta Transportation Dept, Andri Yansyah assured, boat taxi supervision to Seribu Islands will become a common task with the Ministry of Transportation.

His dept is going to tolerate boat taxi that does not meet the standards of transporting passengers.

"There should be no tolerance for boats that do not meet the regulation to set anchor, so equally supervise along with Transportation Dept and Ministry of Transportation," he expressed, Wednesday (1/4).

Regarding ticket sale, Transportation Dept recommends it is managed by cooperative incorporated under the law and have insurance for passengers.

Meanwhile, one of tourists, Elies (37), a citizen of Cawang, East Jakarta hoped City Provincial Government provides the seaworthy and comfortable boat at affordable ticket price.

"Parts that must be upgraded are like boat, service, ticket counter to simplify the passenger candidate not to take long queue," he stated, when dropped to the Kali Adem Pier.

For pier and its facility, is sufficient, either in Kali Adem and Tidung Island. "Pier is good already, but must be accompanied by qualified boats," he uttered.
