Tens of thousands people flocked Ragunan Zoo on Monday (1/2). Up to 4 PM yesterday, there were 84,000 people visited the area.

Ragunan Zoo Head, Dina Himawati, said the number of visitor during new year holiday was 15 percent higher compared to last year.

“There were 175 thousands people in 2016 new year holiday, and now is 198 thousands people,” she said.

Ragunan Zoo is completed with small outbound. By spending Rp 2,500, children can play at the site. According to her, the visitor target in 2016 has exceeded the target by 5,200,000 people.

“Yearly target is 5 million people,” she added.
