Central Jakarta Administration spread fish seeds at several areas in order to maintain the ecosystem as well as food tenacity. Today, the administration spread the tilapia fish seeds at Melati Reservoir, Jalan Talang Betutu, Kebon Melati, Tanah Abang.

There were 50 thousands seeds of tilapia seed spread at the reservoir

Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede, said the effort is part of Jakarta Governor’s program in order to realize food tenacity.

“There were 50 thousands seeds of tilapia seed spread at the reservoir,” he said, Friday (12/16).

According to him, tilapia fish has more flesh compared to other fish types. Moreover, the fish is grow faster.

“Citizens are able to catch and consume the fish. We only allow fishing, not in other ways,” he closed.
