A hotline service at 112 to accept any emergency calls from residents related to disasters that launched by Jakarta BPBD, must be more maximized. Especially during extreme weather that happens lately.

The call center 112 must be intensified, don't let one second empty of network communication with the residents

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono disclosed, Jakarta BPBD must on standby for 24 hours. The information requested must immediately be announced to the public.

"Especially develop a good communication network. The call center 112 must be intensified, don't let one second empty of network communication with the residents," he disclosed, at City Hall, Wednesday (11/16).

Considering the rainy season has hit Jakarta. The peak of rain itself is predicted to occur in January-February.

Aside that, he wants siskamling (patrol) to be more intensified. It is not only for security but also flood, especially in region-prone areas.

"Flood is not only our responsibility but also residents. Let's do it together," he said.
