Jakarta City Council appeals residents living at illegal areas to move into the flats. Living at social and public facilities as well as under flyover violates the regulation.

“Living at forbidden areas must be relocated to flat. Flat has better security and facilities,” said Riano P Ahmad, Jakarta City Council Commission A Chairman, Sunday (9/18).

According to him, the government has its own reason by relocating the residents. It’s for the sake of their welfare.

“Refusing the option is a mistake,” he added.

Moving to the flat is one step closer heading to better life.
