Around 200 qurban animal examiners are officially released to 841 animal slaughterhouses that spread in South Jakarta.

Those are college students, veterinarians, agriculture ministry officers, as well as South Jakarta maritime, agriculture and food security dept and sub-dept officers.

"They are spread to 10 sub-districts examine qurban meat, because cow is prone to disease," expressed Kristrisasi Helenandari, Head of South Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept, Monday (9/12).

She asks the examiners to be more careful in examining qurban meat. Don't let the diseased sacrifice consumed by residents. If the disease is found in beef liver sort of worm or tuberculosis of the lungs, it cannot be distributed.

"Including heart, the blood must be drained and halved because of unclean," she told. 

This time, South Jakarta Administration also distributes 83 qurban meats consist of 65 goats and 18 cows.

"Those will be distributed to the employees, taklim assemblies and the needy, especially mayor offices," stated Tri Kurniadi, Mayor of South Jakarta.

As for the information, there had been previously 413 qurban animal sellers in South Jakarta examined. The officers had examined 30,904 animals. Some were underaged and given a red mark should not be sold.
