As many as 36 illegal buildings along Jalan Kebon Jeruk 16, RT 03/08, Maphar Urban Village, Tamansari were controlled. The buildings were controlled due to occupying water channel.

Tamansari Sub-district Head, Paris Limbong, said 65 joint personnel from Satpol PP, Sub-dept. of Water Management freelancer, Army, Police, urban village and sub-district were deployed.
Previously, the buildings disturbed the water channel cleaning project.
“Mostly the buildings were used as residential. It has made the area looked slums,” he said, Wednesday (9/6).
According to him, the buildings were also used as business area. Before dismantling the buildings, his side has given warning letters.
“Personnel of PPSU and water management agency will dredge the channel,” he added.
