West Jakarta Sub-dept. of Cleanliness applies business to business system for waste handling and transport at business center. The system aims to decrease waste volume.

“Waste volume in West Jakarta reaches 1,250-1,600 tons per day. Business to business system applies autonomous waste management,” said Edy Mulyanto, head of agency, Saturday (8/13).

Business centers apply the system are Beos Kota (BNI 46), Gold Permai Apartment, Permata Buana Housing Complex, Kedoya Elok Apartment, Dharmais Hospital, and so on.

“Our focus is in settlement area. It will add government cash also. The retribution is paid directly to Bank DKI,” he added.
