The joint personnel of Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency and Petojo Selatan Urban Village PPSU, Central Jakarta, controlled illegal parking and street vendors along Jalan Suryopranoto up to Cideng Timur, Wednesday (6/17).

Head of Petojo Selatan, Ojoh Juhariyah said in this activity, officers targeted street vendors and motorcycles operating on the sidewalk.

"This is to create an orderly, safe, and comfortable environment for the public. Previously, we issued warnings to vendors and vehicle owners not to use sidewalks and road shoulders," he said.

He explained that from this operation, officers confiscated three street vendors' carts and five motorcycles caught in a tire valve removal operation.

"We also cooperate with Satpol PP to routinely monitor the area," he admitted.
