The Jakarta Communications, Informatics, and Statistics Agency (Diskominfotik) held a position handover and a farewell-and-welcome ceremony for Diskominfotik Head at the Grha Ali Sadikin Building, Jakarta, Wednesday (6/3).

Marulina Dewi has been appointed as the new Head of Jakarta Diskominfotik, succeeding Budi Awaluddin, who now serves as the Head of Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub).

In her remarks, Marulina expressed her commitment to continuing and optimizing various ongoing strategic programs, one of which includes the optimization of CCTV utilization.

"We are committed to continuing all existing programs and maintaining our track record. We shall carry on with what has proven effective for the benefit of Jakarta. Any areas that still require improvement will undoubtedly be optimized further," she remarked.

She took the opportunity to commend Budi Awaluddin, who helmed the Diskominfotik for the past year, stating that his tenure had produced commendable outcomes.

"The results achieved in just one year have been extraordinary. As seen in the video, he (Budi Awaluddin) has contributed so many works and left a significant legacy for both Diskominfotik and Jakarta government," she added.

Marulina is committed to fulfilling the mandate entrusted to her with the utmost integrity and professionalism.

Jakarta Dishub Head, Budi Awaludin is confident that Marulina Dewi’s proven track record will propel Diskominfotik toward becoming a more advanced, responsive, and innovative agency. He believes her prior contributions have significantly benefited the Jakarta government.

"Her previous track record is nothing short of extraordinary. She has successfully spearheaded numerous major initiatives, introducing significant innovations to the Jakarta government," he continued.

He voiced his expectation that cross-institutional coordination and synergy will be sustained to ensure the delivery of excellent services to the community.
