The Maroedja Sport Park Basketball and Mini Soccer Court on Jalan Meruya Utara is now equipped with eight spotlights to add lighting.

Head of Kembangan District, Joko Suparno explained the addition of floodlights aims to allow residents to use the field for nighttime exercise. Previously, four floodlights were installed on the field.

"Currently there are a total of eight spotlights illuminating the field," he said, Tuesday (5/12).

He added that spotlights installed in collaboration with several companies in the region through the CSR program.

"The process of setting the lights takes one to two days," he added.

Acting Head of West Jakarta Youth and Sport Sub-agency, Yunus Burhan said floodlights have also been installed on the mini soccer field.

All the spotlights in the basketball and mini soccer court areas each have a power of 200 watts.

"Everything is installed," he stated.
