As much as 30 manhole covers that located on Jalan STM Walang, Tugu Selatan Urban Village, North Jakarta, dismantled. This is conducted to facilitate the officer does mud dredging in the channel as long as 300 meters.

Tugu Selatan Urban Village Head, Tarmat said there are 30 manhole covers dismantled. This is because they have made the officer difficult to conduct dredging in the channel.

"All this time, the channel is closed by local citizens. As a result, it is full of mud and garbage," he told, Friday (6/10).

The dismantling itself was executed by 10 PPSU officers. Afterwards, they then cleaned the channel

"Don't close the channel permanently. But just do concrete castings in form of block or make a control tub," he finished.
