The East Jakarta Administration ensured that the stocks of non-subsidized Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) remain secure following the price adjustment that came into effect on April 18, 2026.

Head of East Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprise (PPKUKM) Sub-agency, Andi Ahmad Refi said the stock of non-subsidized LPG in the 5.5 kilogram and 12 kilogram cylinders in the area is still sufficient to meet community needs.

"So far, non-subsidized LPG stocks are secure and readily available," he said, Thursday (4/23).

Andi explained that to ensure supply and price stability, his rank, along with the Trade Division of the Jakarta PPKUKM Agency, continues the monitoring, including the distribution of LPG and other basic necessities.

Refi reminded distributors and agents to maintain supplies and refrain from hoarding in any form. Retailers were also asked to sell LPG at the established price through official distribution channels.

"We also ask the public to remain wise in purchasing LPG and adjust it to their daily needs. Those who can afford it should also not switch to subsidized LPG," he added.

The price of non-subsidized 12-kilogram LPG cylinders was adjusted by Rp 36,000, or around 18.75 percent, from Rp 192,000 to Rp 228,000 per cylinder.

"For 5.5 kilogram LPG, the price has increased by Rp 17,000 or around 18.89 percent, from Rp 90,000 to Rp 107,000," he stated.
