A total of 52,471 Eid travelers from various regions arrived at several train stations within KAI Daop 1 Jakarta on Thursday (3/26).

KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Public Relations Manager Franoto Wibowo said the returning travelers disembarked at Pasar Senen, Gambir, Jatinegara, Bekasi, Cikarang, and Karawang stations.

According to Franoto, as of today, arrivals continue to outnumber departures, with 33,520 passengers recorded leaving.

"The flow of returning passengers using trains remains relatively high and dynamic," he stated.

He noted that Pasar Senen and Gambir stations have become the two main arrival hubs of Eid return flow. As of midday, 18,203 passengers had arrived at Pasar Senen Station, while 15,815 were recorded at Gambir Station.

Meanwhile, 8,477 passengers arrived at Bekasi Station, 4,871 at Jatinegara, 2,468 at Cikarang, 1,483 at Cikampek, and 1,154 at Karawang.

He informed that passengers arriving at these seven stations came from various cities across Java, including Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Jember, Purwokerto, Bandung, Malang, Solo, Tegal, Madiun, and Kutoarjo.

"On March 21–22, a total of 62,254 travelers had already returned by train," he added.
