Work on the landslide retaining wall at Kali Baru, RT 03/02, Batu Ampar Urban Village, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta, continues to be accelerated. A spider excavator has been deployed to expedite the repair process, which as of Wednesday (March 25) was approximately 60 percent complete.

Kramat Jati District Water Resources (SDA) Task Force personnel, Mulyadi, said that the condition of the collapsed retaining wall was quite severe, with a length of around 10 meters.
"Ten Blue Troop personnel were deployed for technical assistance at the site. Heavy equipment was also deployed to ensure completion of the work, targeted for Friday," he added.
Mulyadi explained that after the dolken installation is complete, the next stage is land hardening. The landslide area will be filled with rubble and then compacted with a tamper from the East Jakarta Public Works Agency.
"This is run so that the Kali Baru Inspection Road could be used by vehicles again," he continued.
Meanwhile, Head of RT 03/02, Batu Ampar Urban Village, Wawan Roswandi stated Kali Baru Inspection Road is an important access road that is crossed every day by residents' vehicles, both motorbikes and cars.
"On weekdays, this road is an alternative route for motorists to avoid the congestion on Jalan Raya Bogor," he stated.
