Jakarta’s civil servants gathered for a post-holiday friendship meeting (Halalbihalal) with Governor Pramono Anung and Vice Governor Rano Karno on their first workday after Eid.

"We made this gathering today for Jakarta’s state apparatus. Over 2,000 food boxes were handed out, indicating that more than 2,000 employees attended," he remarked, at Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (3/25).

Pramono offered his apologies to the public and staff, urging them to maintain solidarity and a fresh spirit to improve public services post-Ramadan.

He also confirmed that the Jakarta administration is adopting the central government's Work From Anywhere (WFA) policy for state employees.

The policy follows Circular Letter No. 2/2026 from the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform concerning civil servant duties during the Nyepi and Eid holidays.

He noted that WFA is restricted to 50 percent of the workforce. Permissions are selective, depending on organizational requirements and the specific circumstances of each employee.

"This policy remains in effect for two more days per the Governor's Circular. Civil servants who have not yet returned to the office can take advantage of this arrangement," he stated.
