"By noon, we recorded 13,503 visitors, including 151 foreign tourists," he noted, Monday (3/23).
Despite the spike in crowds, the atmosphere at Monas stayed orderly. Management is urging visitors to follow instructions and maintain order for everyone's convenience.
Visitors are reminded to queue properly, follow the rules, and keep the area clean.
"We also emphasize the importance of watching over personal belongings and children during their visit," he added.
Meanwhile, one of the tourists, Najla Pandjaitan (22), shared that she is utilizing the Eid holiday to vacation in Jakarta. The student from Surabaya chose not to return to her hometown in Asahan because she is preparing for her upcoming graduation.
"I’m graduating next month, so it would be impractical to go home right now. I’m spending the Eid holiday at a relative's house," she added, Monday (3/23).
This trip to Monas was her first time exploring the capital, fulfilling a long-time dream of hers.
"Following Monas, I intend to go to Ancol Taman Impian and explore more of Jakarta's tourist spots," she added.
