Parcel sales at Cikini Market, Menteng, Central Jakarta, have surged in the lead-up to Idulfitri. The increase in demand began about a week ago.

Sean (48), owner of Sean Parcel, stated that over the past week, his shop has been serving approximately 40 customers daily.

He expects the demand for parcels to persist until two days before Idulfitri.

"We’ve had many customers reaching out for food and ceramic tableware parcels. I’m confident that the turnout will keep increasing up to two days before Idulfitri," he remarked, Wednesday (3/18).

Food hampers are priced between Rp 200,000 and Rp 2 million each. For dinnerware sets featuring ceramic cups, plates, or calligraphy, prices start as low as Rp 300,000.

"We also offer made-to-order parcels to suit our buyers' preferences," he noted.
