About 15 Duren Sawit Sub-district Satpol PP personnel sterilized bike lane on Jalan Inspeksi East Flood Canal (KBT), Thursday (5/19). The effort was done since the lane is occupied again by street vendors.

Andik Sukaryanto, Duren Sawit Sub-district Satpol PP Head, admitted street vendors back occupying the lane after being controlled a week ago. Now the personnel have closed the access by using concrete barrier. A truck is also standby to transport street vendor’s stalls.

“We could deploy 15 personnel during this raid. Concrete MCB is installed to dispel them,” he said, Thursday (5/19).

The sterilization was started from McDonald intersection on Jalan Raden Inten up to Menara Kembar or before Pondok Bambu flyover. Personnel guarded the area from 4 PM to 9.30 PM.
