Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat allows the alumnus of Vocational School (SMK) who want to join in the working practices in the Vocational Training Centre (BLK). Students can also apply for a scholarship to the city administration for the college.
He explains, the city administration opens opportunity for outstanding students to propose the scholarship. Thus the tuition fee is paid by the government. But if you want to work thus those who graduated SMA/SMK are welcome in the city government-owned training.
"Those who want to do working practice, just go to BLK. Those who want to go to college, just propose scholarship to the city, especially outstanding student. We will give scholarship, tuition until graduation. The government will cover it," he expressed, on a graduation ceremony of SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1-2 Jakarta, Thursday (5/19).
He assessed, working opportunity is prepared for them. Because it was given training and certification. However, to face the Asean Economic Community, training in BLK is also required.
