Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama instructs Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) to always update information of receding puddle in Jakarta.

"BPBD performance is good so far, but they have to inform it in detail, especially about receding puddle," he said, when he led a meeting about flood handling, at City Hall, Thursday (4/22).

According to him, if it is conducted well, Jakarta Water Management Dept can solve it properly. If not, the public will think puddles remain exist.

"BPBD information could be a reference for Water Management Dept. If puddle has receded, they should tell us too," he said.

As known, he opened a flood handling meeting in Jakarta Smart City Smart. It was attended by some officials, namely Mayor of Central Jakarta Manggara Pardede, Mayor of North Jakarta Rustam Efendi, official of Water Management Sub-dept, official of Water Management Dept, Jakarta BPBD as well as sluice gate guard.
