Tens of PPSU personnel of Panggang Island Urban Village cleaned Karya Island ahead of President Joko Widodo visit on Thursday (4/14).
The cleaning is focused at East and North beach of Karya Island where the event will take place
Ardani, Panggang Island Urban Village Head, said three settlement islands have been cleaned. As many as 70 PPSU personnel were deployed.
“The cleaning is focused at East and North beach of Karya Island where the event will take place,” he said, Monday (4/11).
Besides cleaning the area, Panggang Island Urban Village has another duty by deploying citizens to participate in the event.
Meanwhile, Budi Utomo, Seribu Island Regent, admitted that the event is moved from Pramuka to Karya Island since Karya Island field is able to accommodate three helicopters at the same time.
