The Planetarium and Observatorium's Technical Management Unit (UPT) will hold nonton bareng (communal screenings), total solar phenomenal on Wednesday (2/9). In the event, as many as 2,500 eyeglasses will be distributed to the public for free.

"It will be through a binocular. In addition, we will also watch live streaming, real time, about the occurrence of a total solar eclipse. Later we will give souvenirs about 600 packages," said Head of Planetarium and Observatorium's Technical Management Unit for Jakarta Education Dept, Eko Wahyu Wibowo, Thursday (2/25).

It is done, he continued, to accommodate the desire of the people to see the phenomenon that only happens once every 350 years.
