Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama said, the 112 call center service for disaster response must be socialized in elementary school. This way is done to make students ready to face any trouble.

The important thing is we can socialize the 112 call center service to student in school

"The important thing is we can socialize the 112 call center service to student in school," he stated, at City Hall, Thursday (2/11).

He assessed, Indonesia should emulate America that introduces 911 service to all levels of society. "So the student must be trained. Thus they can be more responsive, despite there is no their mother and call 112," he expressed.

He added, at this time, every citizen has a mobile phone. This service can even be used without a pulse or free. So they can help people if something happens. Meanwhile, for the 119 and 164 call centers are still using pulse.

"You can still call the 112 call center, despite you do not have pulse. Considering it is emergency number in Indonesia," he finished.
