West Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-Dept, hoped a fire extinguisher post could be set up in Daan Mogot Flat, Duri Kosambi, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

"Fire extinguisher post is important in the flat, and we had filed it before. Hopefully, it could be realized next year," said Head of West Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-Dept, Pradjoko, Tuesday (12/22).

According to him, the fire extinguisher post is a means of vital facilities to should be set up on all fronts, including flats.

"Besides government, it also relates to the developer who must be responsible to set up fire extinguisher post for the sake of people safety," he expressed.

He added, his sub-dept also intends to send officers and form fire safety system (SKKL) in the flat.

"While from management, the developer should also form building fire handling (MKKG), so they have obligation to maintain the building," he finished.
