Pramono Signs Off on Efficiency Rules to Fight Climate Change

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung presided over the handover ceremony of the C-40 Urban Climate Action Programme (UCAP) – Climate Action Implementation (CAI) initiative at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Central Jakarta, Friday (2/6).

During the ceremony, Pramono officially inked Gubernatorial Regulation No. 5/2026, which mandates energy and water efficiency for all buildings across the capital.

He underscored that the regulation is a strategic milestone designed to tackle the brunt of climate change while accelerating Jakarta’s transition into a low-carbon urban center.
