SPAM Draft Regional Regulation Projected to Accelerate 100 Percent Water Service in Jakarta

Jakarta Provincial Government officially submitted the Draft Regional Regulation about the Implementation of the Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) in a Plenary Meeting at the Jakarta City Council Building.

This Draft Regional Regulation is projected to be a crucial element in supporting the acceleration of 100 percent piped water services by 2029.

The Deputy Jakarta Governor, Rano Karno, stated that the Draft Regional Regulation on SPAM will comprehensively regulate various aspects, starting from the type of service, the authority of the service provider, the rights and obligations of customers, to the funding mechanism and tariff scheme.
