Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has taken a firm stance by suspending the issuance of construction permits for new Padel courts within the city's residential zones.

He announced the decisive move following a high-level limited meeting at Jakarta City Hall.

He stated that permits for new Padel facilities will henceforth be granted exclusively for commercial zones, ensuring no negative impact on residential communities.
