Mother’s Day: A Catalyst for Enhancing Women’s Participation in Development

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung led the 97th Mother's Day provincial ceremony at City Hall on Monday, where he delivered a mandate from Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) Minister, Arifatul Choiri Fauzi.

He asserted that Mother’s Day is a heartfelt appreciation for women in all walks of life. 

He described women as the 'main engine of change' rather than just beneficiaries of national development.
