Head of Operational Controlling Division for Jakarta Transportation Department, Maruli Tua Sijabat appealed the vehicle owners not to park their vehicle on roadsides and sidewalks, for realizing the order.

He claimed, illegal parking is still rampant in Pasar Senen, Tanah Abang, Roxy, and around Jalan MH Thamrin.

" The raid will keep being intensified, thus we keep appealing do not park on roadside that clearly written parking ban ," said Sijabat, Thursday (9/10).

He added, it is conducted to create convenient for pedestrian. Parking on sidewalks, he continued, will also ruin facilities and infrastructure in the city.

"Based on governor's program about 5 orders including traffic order, so we will keep holding a raid continuously in 5 area of city." he closed.
